So hooked! Finally got to catching up with all the episodes and I have some background suggestions. Won’t go into the details but just the bigger ideas…

What if Gil turns out to be the only “illegitimate” child between the modified and the unmodified? And because Gil is a mix between the tribes she gets sick more often than the others in her tribe (remember the mods don’t get sick), and that’s why she kept her hideout (model house) a secret – she didn’t want her tribe to raise questions so she would go there when she was sick. She probably didn’t understand it at that point but knew something was “different” That was her motive for keeping the model house a secret.

So fast forward to this episode, when Gil introduces Enk to the tribe there’s a big blow out, and then Gil gets sick at that point which is when the elder realizes she must not be a full mod… and some conversation happens and Enk is accepted….details can be worked on during he podcast???

Love this! Can’t wait for the next one 🙂

Oh that’s terrific! I love it

If you want to call the unmods ? Why not the untouched?

  • RANDA⭐️ LEB.

    Evolved hyenas and wolves!!! Now!

  • Ricardo Miguens

The relationship between the to protagonists seems to need something more emotional on my opinion . I would sugest that during the travel to see hanks tribe, some event would make guils tribe be all against hank , but she would take his side for some reason, going against her own tribe. This would make their connection go above a normal 2 strangers meeting.

    • Deems211

I agree. I a would definitely like to see more relationship development between characters and tribes, whether positive or negative ones.

  • hgnostop

Why jock tribe don’t really shoot people? they are the bad boys. Kids are really dangerous. Or maybe the turn from using rubber to real bullets could be an emotional peak point.

    • Rabieh aschkar

Since it was a prison with riot gear , rubber bullets is more sensible

I believe we need some extreme thinks to happen: the story started very well but sometimes falls into cliches from any zombie apocalypse. Or maybe not.

    • Elias Khalil

I agree. I already have some ideas brewing. Hoping to make the listeners a little uncomfortable in the next episode. Do you have any ideas for an extreme story altering event?

      • hgnostop

Jocks killing people. Mutant animals (not turtles). Medicine that doesn’t work. New hostile tribes. Protagonist tribe leads Jocks to Mods hide out; now the Mods lose some people and hate Prots. Elders foul of superstitious beliefs. See? i’m foul of cliches myself 🙂

  • hgnostop

i really think you should really find a name for the protagonist tribe: I suggest a childish name, let’s say “the Fearless”

    • Deems211

I agree with you and I would like the unmods to also have a name that they call themselves like “the originals, the primals, the endurers, the preservers, the survivors, the prevailers, the cardinals…” or anything else really that represents who they are in this new world.

  • hgnostop

i think both the jock tribe and the protagonist tribe are religious – in a world where technology screwed up everything, religion would thrive!

  • hgnostop

Does Ink know that his tribe lives under the El Dorado mall? i mean do they know the name of the building above them?

    • Elias Khalil

No. As I understand it in my head, the unmods have access to an underground facility which partially extends under El Dorado mall. But as they haven’t fully explored it (maybe due to locked off areas), they aren’t fully aware of the geographical space it occupies. I think the revelation comes to both the unmods and ‘The Fearless’ at the same time 😛

  • Rabieh aschkar

Now we are on the move , cool . I don’t think that Gil with her tender age can represent the tribe she can be with Ink but I am sure there must be an elder with them. Concerning the dangers in the caves nature by itself is enough to discourage intruders. Well done guys it’s getting more interesting

    • Elias Khalil

I think that is a very good point- it’s easy to forget how young Gil is, and there should definitely be an elder representing them.
